The most infamous Enmore Gazette event was “the world’s first meme page gig” which featured indie shoegaze icons Egoism headline alongside Rat Boy School Excursion and Safety First. It was the first time in over 100 years that The Lady Hampshire hit its venue capacity of 300 people. 

Running for exactly one year, this project reached millions of people with its video content satirizing global events.

More importantly, the project brought together hundreds of Sydney creatives for real life events.

Aside from community trends, collaborations and merch, much like the Nelly Furtado song - all good things come to an end.
